Family Medicine
Richard Campbell, M.D., FAAFP
Richard Campbell, MD is a board-certified Fellow in the American
Academy of Family Practice who has served the Lawton community
since 1987. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a
major in Anthropology and Microbiology. He then graduated from the
University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine and completed his three-
year Family Practice residency with the University of Kansas, College of
Medicine.
Dr. Richard Campbell has served as Chief of Staff for Comanche County
Memorial Hospital and Southwestern Hospital. He continues to serve
on the Physician Credentialing Committee at CCMH.
Dr. Campbell, an avid pilot, also a Senior Airman FAA Medical
Examiner and preforms all classes of flight physicals.
He and his wife Vicki have three children and five grandchildren who
keep them occupied. He enjoys SCUBA diving, boating on Lake
Lawtonka, traveling, and flying. His interest in Lionel trains and United
States flags is well known and often displayed arond the office. Dr.
Richard Campbell specializes in the 46 Star American Flag which was
the US flag flying when Oklahoma became a state. His collection of
flags, specifically 46 star, continues to grow.
Dr. Richard Campbell and partner built the Wichita Mountain Medical
office in 2000 and his goals to provide quality, personal healthcare to
SW OK has never wavered.
